In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic , unity and collaboration seem to be key concepts to future success . In that same spirit , West Virginia Executive recently partnered with the West Virginia Manufacturers Association ’ s 10th Annual Marcellus and Manufacturing Development Conference to host a reception celebrating the Sharp Shooters Class of 2021 on June 7 , 2021 , at the Morgantown Marriott at Waterfront Place . The event brought together people from a variety of industries and backgrounds , but they all shared a common goal : to see West Virginia prosper in the days ahead .
The same can be said for this year ’ s Sharp Shooters , who have collectively given thousands of hours to serving the people of the Mountain State . From academia to manufacturing , marketing to land development , this group of stand-out West Virginians are among the state ’ s most valuable assets .
Sharp Shooters are chosen from a vast pool of nominations each year , and selections are made based on career success and past and present community and philanthropic involvement . The members of the class of 2021 are : Jerome Gilbert , president of Marshall University ; Kerry Gnik , executive director of the Camp Dawson Event Center ; James Hersick , director of strategy and design impact at Hersick + Webster Strategy + Brand Partners ; Mary Anne Ketelsen , president of West Virginia Potato Chip Company ; Paul Lauttamus , president of A . V . Lauttamus Communications , Inc ., Lauttamus Security and Lauttamus Holding , Inc .; Roya Maher , president and CEO of A3L Federal Works LLC ; Norman Mosrie , partner-in-charge of DHG Healthcare Assurance Services , Dixon Hughes Goodman LLP ; Gail Pitchford , president of CAMC Foundation , Inc .; Charles Printz Jr ., partner at Bowles Rice LLP ; and Glenn Yost , president of McDonald Land Companies .
