Olivia Miller
Olivia Miller is a multimedia specialist at the Eberly College of Arts
and Sciences at West Virginia University (WVU). She studied at
WVU, where she worked as a social media video producer for 100
Days in Appalachia and received a bachelor’s degree in journalism. A
native of Hendricks, WV, Miller has a passion for traveling, writing
and adventuring.
Jamie Null
Jamie Null is the executive director for the Mercer County Convention
& Visitors Bureau. An award-winning journalist with the Bluefield
Daily Telegraph, she joined the tourism industry in 2014. A graduate of
both Bluefield College and Concord University, she holds bachelor’s
degrees in print journalism and English literature and enjoys running,
traveling and promoting West Virginia.
Katlin Swisher
Katlin Swisher is the assistant director of marketing and communications
for the Eberly College of Arts and Sciences, an instructor of leadership
studies at West Virginia University (WVU) and the managing editor
for the Graduate Student Journal of Higher Education. She holds a
Ph.D. and master’s degree in higher education administration and
a bachelor’s degree in journalism from WVU.
Tracy Toler
Tracy Toler scaled Seneca Rocks at the age of 5 and has been reaching new
heights ever since. Through his business, Tracy A. Toler Photography,
he has served as creative director and feature photographer for many
of the region’s largest magazines. Known as Mr. McGyver, he can
fix anything with a bobby pin, rubber band or Swiss Army knife.

Kristen Uppercue
Kristen Uppercue is a senior journalism major at West Virginia
University. Serving as the student editor for 100 Days in Appalachia,
she curates content for the publication and will begin a graduate
assistantship in the fall. She is currently editor in chief of Mirage
Magazine, and she enjoys traveling and photography, spending most
of her free time behind a camera.
Alicia Willard
Alicia Willard is the vice president for the strategic communications
team at Signal Group. Before joining Signal, she held multiple positions
at IQ Solutions, Golin and the Asthma and Allergy Foundation
of America. She is a graduate of West Virginia University, where
she received her bachelor’s degree in public relations and a minor
in communications. She lives in Denver, CO, with her husband.

publications. She holds bachelor’s degrees in
corporate communications and journalism
from Elon University. She is a graduate of the
Leadership West Virginia Class of 2015, the
2015 FBI Citizens Academy and the 2016-
2017 class of Leadership Mon. In fall of
2017, she graduated from the Goldman Sachs
10,000 Small Businesses program. She lives
in Elkview with her husband, Adam, and her

Jennifer Jett
Prezkop, the
editor in chief at
Executive Ink, LLC,
has had a passion
for putting words
to paper since
elementary school.
A graduate of Herbert Hoover High School, she
studied at West Virginia University and received
her Regents Bachelor of Arts degree from West
Virginia State University. In her spare time,
she enjoys creative writing, reading young adult
fiction and boating on Lake Erie. A lifelong
Mountaineer, she resides in Ripley, WV, with
her husband, Doug, and their two cats, Jovie
and Miles.
