Chairman A.V. Lauttamus Communications & Security of Weirton, WV, has been honored with the exclusive ATSI 2019 Award of Excellence. This award is presented an- nually by the Association of TeleServices International (ATSI), the industry’s trade association for providers of telecommu- nications and call center services. A.V. Lauttamus Communications & Security was presented with the award at ATSI’s 2019 annual convention in Dallas, Texas. Independent judges are contracted by ATSI to evaluate message services over a six-month period. The scoring criteria include response time, courteousness of rep, accuracy of call, knowledge of ac- count and overall impression of call. We have members who have been involved in the program for decades and are very proud each year when they win the award.” Monongalia Emergency Medical Services Announces New Executive Director Monongalia Emergency Medical Ser- vices (Mon EMS) has announced the hiring of Forest Weyen as its executive director. Mon EMS is jointly managed and operated by Mon Health System and WVU Hospitals. Weyen is returning to Mon EMS from Bennington, VT, where he most recently served six years as executive director of the Bennington Rescue Squad. He earned his paramedicine certificate from Fair- mont State University and worked as a paramedic and emergency medical tech- nician for White Sulphur Springs Rescue Squad. He also worked with the Marion County Rescue Squad and earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Pittsburgh and an MBA from West Vir- ginia University.
