Some of the most substantial improvements that have been made so far include renovating the Conrad Motel, a col- lege-owned space in downtown Glenville, into an 85-student residential living space known as the Riverfront Residence; de- signing and completing an exercise science lab in the physical education building; creating the Bluegrass Music Education Center in downtown Glenville; and repurposing the third floor of the Robert F. Kidd Library into an academic success center that will house many academic support services for students, including advising, tutoring and veterans’ services. Other im- pactful projects have included repairing the restrooms and the concession stand roof at Morris Stadium, replacing the campus electrical core switch, refurbishing athletic courts and replacing the pool filtration. Additionally, the technology in all classrooms and computer labs has been updated, and most faculty computers were upgraded to assure that GSC has the latest technology and tools for success.
