He holds a bachelor’s degree from Glenville State College, a master’s degree from California University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Business Administration from West Virginia Wesleyan College. Hinton has served as a small business coach for the West Virginia Small Business Devel- opment Center and has a background in small business ownership. Maggie Matsko Maggie Matsko is the communications and development specialist for the Ursuline Sisters of Mount Saint Joseph, an organization of vibrant women who minister to the needs of the communities in which they serve. Matsko is a graduate of West Virginia University, where she received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in journalism. Currently, Matsko resides in Owensboro, KY, with her boyfriend and two cats. Wayne Morgan Wayne Morgan is the executive director of the West Virginia Infrastructure and Jobs Development Council. He holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engi- neering from West Virginia University and a Master of Business Administra- tion from University of Charleston. Morgan is retired from American Water Systems with 25 years of service and has 15 years of service in engineering consulting in Virginia and West Virginia. Jamie Null Jamie Null is the executive director for the Mercer County Conven- tion & Visitors Bureau. An award-winning journalist with the Blue- field Daily Telegraph, she joined the tourism industry in 2014. A grad- uate of both Bluefield College and Concord University, she holds bachelor’s degrees in print journalism and English literature and enjoys running, traveling and promoting West Virginia. Alex Panas Alex Panas is a marketing coordinator at The Health Plan, where she helps create engaging marketing campaigns and plan events for internal and exter- nal audiences. She holds a bachelor’s degree in health communications from Ohio University and a master’s degree in communication studies from Ball State University and was recently appointed vice president of OVConnect, a networking group for young professionals in the Greater Ohio Valley region. Danny Scalise Danny Scalise is the executive director of the West Virginia State Medical As- sociation. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business management, a Master of Business Administration and a master’s of public health. He is also certified in public health by the National Board of Public Health Examiners. Scalise has been recognized as a leader nationally by Opportunity Nation and as a Rising Star by the American Public Health Association. Katlin Swisher Katlin Swisher, a native of Hurricane, WV, is the interim director of com- munications and marketing for the Eberly College of Arts and Sciences at West Virginia University (WVU). She holds a bachelor’s degree in public relations and a master’s degree in higher education administration from WVU and is currently pursuing a doctor of education in higher educa- tion administration. 14 WEST VIRGINIA EXECUTIVE MEET THE STAFF Jennifer Jett Prezkop Jennifer Jett Prezkop, the managing editor at Executive Ink, LLC, has had a passion for putting words to paper since elementary school. A graduate of Herbert Hoover High School, she studied at West Virginia University and received her Regents Bachelor of Arts degree from West Virginia State University. In her spare time, she freelances as a manuscript editor and enjoys creative writing, reading young adult fiction and boating on Lake Erie with her husband, Doug. A lifelong Mountaineer, she resides in Ripley, WV, with her husband and their two cats, Jovie and Miles. She may be reached at [email protected]. Tracy Toler Tracy Toler scaled Seneca Rocks at the age of 5 and has been reaching new heights ever since. Through his business, Tracy A. Toler Photography, he has served as creative director and feature photographer for many of the region’s largest magazines.
