Judy Belcher
Judy Belcher is the executive director for American Institute of Architects
West Virginia. She holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Marshall Uni-
versity and serves on the advisory board for the West Virginia Small Busi-
ness Development Center. Belcher resides in Charleston and is passionate
about the art and architecture of the state.
Sally Cline
Sally Cline is the president and CEO of the West Virginia Bankers Associ-
ation. She previously served as commissioner of the West Virginia Division
of Financial Institutions and has a career that spans more than 30 years as
a regulator and banker. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business adminis-
tration and is a graduate of the West Virginia School of Banking and the
Graduate School of Banking of the South at Louisiana State University.
Mike Clowser
Mike Clowser is the executive director of the Contractor’s Association of
West Virginia. He has worked for almost 40 years with state and local gov-
ernments to create economic development and job opportunities and pro-
vide funding for West Virginia’s infrastructure. Clowser holds a bachelor’s
degree in journalism from West Virginia University and has completed the
U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s Institute for Organization Management.
Blair Dowler
Blair Dowler is the communications specialist for the West Virginia University
(WVU) College of Business and Economics. She is a lead writer, manages all so-
cial media for the college and helps coordinate all marketing projects. Dowler is a
native of West Virginia and a two-time graduate of WVU with a bachelor’s degree
in journalism and a master’s degree in integrated marketing communications.
Kevin Duvall
Kevin Duvall, a native of St. Albans, WV, holds bachelor’s and master’s
degrees in journalism from West Virginia University (WVU). He is a free-
lance writer and a student in the Master of Arts and Certification in Sec-
ondary Education program at WVU. Duvall resides in Morgantown, WV,
with his wife, Kayla.
Michael Haid
Michael Haid is the president and owner of MCWV, Inc., an advertising asso-
ciation management firm located in Charleston. A lifelong West Virginian, he
was born and raised in Parkersburg and graduated from West Virginia Universi-
ty with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. Haid has owned and managed several
businesses in his 20-year career and is a certified public accountant. He resides
in Charleston with his wife, Carol, and their four cats.
Jean Hardiman
Jean Hardiman is a communications specialist for Marshall University.
She previously worked for The Herald Dispatch for 17 years and now does
freelance writing for publications, businesses and organizations through-
out the region. A transplant from northern Ohio to West Virginia, she lives
in Huntington with her husband and daughters and finds joy in writing
about events and people in the Mountain State.

Melanie Boyd
Melanie Boyd, a native
of Shrewsbury, WV,
is the graphic designer
for Executive Ink, LLC
and its publications.
She holds a bachelor’s
degree in graphic design
from Marietta College
and previously worked
as the designer for the West Virginia Education
Association. In her spare time, Boyd is active
in CrossFit at Firebreather Fitness and has
participated in several 5k runs, including the
SportFest Glow Run 5k in Charleston and
the Color Me Rad 5k in Morgantown. She
als o enjoys cross-stitching and jigsaw puzzles.

of Buffalo, WV, she
holds bachelor’s and
master’s degrees in
journalism from West
Virginia University.
She previously worked as an assistant editor
for Omnistream and a social media specialist
for Atkins & Ogle Law Offices. In her spare
time, she serves as a volunteer with Putnam
County 4-H, the Church of the Nazarene
and the Come and Serve Team. Cart currently
lives in Hometown, WV, with her husband,
Dr. Caleb Cart, and their dog, Wednesday.

Fauber is the editor

A native of Charleston,
WV, she holds bachelor’s degrees in corporate
communications and journalism from
Elon University. She is a 2015 graduate
of Leadership West Virginia and the FBI
Citizens Academy, the current chair of the
West Virginia Chamber of Commerce’s
small business committee and a member of
the 2016-2017 class of Leadership Mon. Last
fall, she graduated from the Goldman Sachs
