Security America Celebrates 35
Years, Launches New Division
Security America continues to grow its
operations in West Virginia, Ohio and the
Pittsburgh, PA, area. Celebrating 35 years
in business in June, the company launched
a new division called special event response
services (SERS) last month. SERS provides
security officers for short-term events, ex-
ecutive protection, overnight security and
armed and unarmed security.
The new division resulted in the need to
hire 10 new officers to meet the demands
of diverse clients, including a nationally
broadcasted reality TV show filmed in
West Virginia and Charleston Main Street’s
Foam at The Dome event.
“We pride ourselves on providing
professional quality security services so
our customers can focus on their core
business,” says Bill Signorelli, the com-
pany’s founder. “These values have been
our focus since day one and will be carried
over for many years to come as my son
Chris leads Security America.”
New Valley Health Urgent
Care Opens in Ranson
East Mountain Health Physicians and
Valley Health System held a ceremo-
nial ribbon cutting this summer for a
new urgent care center in Ranson, WV.
Located in a growing retail area of Jef-
ferson County, the 4,800-square-foot
urgent care has 10 exam rooms and is
staffed seven days a week to treat minor
illnesses and injuries on a walk-in basis.
“We’ve been warmly received by Jeffer-
son County and look forward to serving
Eastern Panhandle residents from this new
location,” says Chris Rucker, president of
Valley Regional Enterprises and vice president
of Valley Health. “We know busy families
are looking for convenient, high-quality after-
hours care, and employers want to contain
health care costs and help their employees
get back to work quicker. Our accredited
urgent care centers are a great solution.”
Valley Health operates urgent care centers
in Martinsburg, WV, and Winchester and
Front Royal, VA, and recently collaborated
with East Mountain Health Physicians to
open a Valley Health Quick Care at Spring
Mills in Falling Waters, WV.

Malware
Cybercrime is at an all-time high, and hackers are setting
their sights on small and medium-sized businesses that are
considered “low-hanging fruit.” Don’t be their next victim!
Every day, 82,000 new malware threats are being released,
and half of occurring cyberattacks are aimed at businesses just
like yours. The National Cyber Security Alliance reports 54% of
Americans are extremely concerned about loss of personal and
financial information. How confident are you that your business
protects the critical data of your employees and clients?
It’s natural to want to think, “We’ve got it covered.” You’ve
spent a lifetime working hard to get where you are. You
earned every penny and every client. Why risk losing it all? Get
the facts, and be certain your business, your reputation and
your data are protected.
Read what one of our clients had to say about Alpha Technologies:
“… Doug got in his car, drove over three hours to
the NOC and personally installed the replacement
equipment. Alpha’s customer service is always
excellent, but in a crisis situation it is invaluable to us.”
