Fueling the Future
Introducing the Sharp Shooters
Class of 2020
WEST VIRGINIANS HELPING West Virginians has never been
more important. During a year of uncertainty, an unprecedented
stay-at-home order, business closings, layoffs, remote work and
fear, citizens of the Mountain State have proven once again that
in the face of adversity, they take care of their own.
As West Virginia, along with the rest of the country, recovers
from the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, recognizing those
who prioritize the needs of others is a privilege, and West Virginia
Executive is proud to present the Sharp Shooters Class of 2020.
Much like coal, oil and natural gas fuel our nation’s most
important industries, the 2020 Sharp Shooters are fueling statewide
revitalization and pushing for a promising, more successful
future. These vital natural resources are the backbone of the
state’s most important endeavors, including business, finance,
health care, economic development and infrastructure, and
each one of them has an active track record of commitment,
service and philanthropy.
Sharp Shooters are West Virginians over the age of 43 who
stand out in their respective fields and represent what is great
about the past and exciting about the future of the Mountain
State. Honorees must have lived in the state and been in their
West Virginia-based position for at least five years and actively
participate in community service and philanthropic endeavors,
as well as efforts to move the Mountain State forward.
Welcome, Sharp Shooters Class of 2020.
If you know someone who is making an impact in their
career and community, nominate them for next year’s class.
Nominations are accepted year-round and can be submitted
at www.wvexecutive.com/sharp-shooter-nomination-form. •
