Campbell Named Mountain Health
Network Chief Nursing Officer
Regina Campbell, RN, MSN, has been named the system
chief nursing officer (CNO) for the Mountain Health Network
(MHN). Campbell has served as the interim CNO since
August 2019.
In her role, Campbell serves as the system champion for safe
and high-quality nursing care and leads the development of the
vision and strategy for nursing care across MHN. Campbell
is also the vice president and chief nursing officer for Cabell
Huntington Hospital.

leadership team is extremely important,
and Regina has fulfilled that

MHN. “Her leadership has been
integral to the system during the pandemic,

A graduate of St. Mary’s School of Nursing, Campbell
received her bachelor’s degree from West Virginia University
and her master’s degree from Bellarmine College in Louisville.
She previously served as the director of St. Mary’s Regional
Heart Institute and director of surgical education and clinical
instructor for the Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School
of Medicine. She also coached hospital emergency department
teams across the country as a consultant with the global
advisory firm Studer Group.

these past several months has been a tremendous experience,”
says Campbell. “I look forward to continuing our efforts as
we work together to honor our commitment to the health and
well-being of our community.”

Systems Agency and NAVAIR. He previously served as
vice president of KeyLogic Systems’ National Security Division.

BridgeValley Offers Department of Labor
Registered Carpentry Apprenticeship Program
BridgeValley Community and Technical College’s Workforce
& Economic Development Division helps individuals upgrade
their skills and abilities, prepare for new careers and take
personal interest courses to learn a new passion or hobby. The
school’s list of credentials now includes a U.S. Department of
Labor-registered carpentry apprenticeship program.
Born from a partnership with ORDERS Construction
Company in St. Albans, WV, the program trains students to
become journeymen carpenters, a title given to individuals
who have successfully completed a formal apprenticeship program.
During BridgeValley’s National Center for Construction
Education and Research (NCCER) level 1 carpentry course,
students begin as level 1 carpenters and, after successfully
completing the training, progress to level 3. Today, two
cohorts totaling 12 students have earned NCCER credentials
in carpentry, completing multiple projects supporting the needs
of BridgeValley and the community. •
