2026 West Virginia Executive Health Care Hall of Fame

One of the Mountain State’ s most admirable traits is its people’ s determination to take care of each other, a sentiment the West Virginia Executive( WVE) Health Care Hall of Fame Class of 2026 exemplifies each day. On March 3, 2026, WVE celebrated the class at the University of Charleston rotunda.
This year’ s class is comprised of Sammar Atassi, M. D., FACP, FAASM, medical director for Montgomery Rehab Nursing and Montgomery Extended Care Unit and staff physician at Montgomery General Hospital; Angie Christian, chief operating officer of Boone Memorial Health; Christopher Clay, chief financial officer and IT director for Rainelle Medical Center, Inc.; Michelle Coon, president of Vandalia Health Network and vice president of managed care for Vandalia Health; Larry D. Dial Jr., M. D., chief physician executive at Marshall Health
Network and vice dean for clinical affairs at Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine at Marshall University; Katherine Hill Calloway, D. O., MPH, chief medical director of HospiceCare West Virginia and regional assistant dean of the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine; Michael E. Kilkenny, M. D., MS, CEO and health officer of Cabell-Huntington Health Department; Clay Marsh, M. D., chancellor and executive dean of West Virginia University( WVU) Health Sciences and dean of WVU School of Medicine; William Carr McBee Jr., M. D., Vandalia Health Mon Medical Center; and Greg Rosencrance, M. D., FACP, president and CEO of WVU Medicine Thomas Hospitals.
