NRGRDA Funds Technical Assistance Infrastructure Projects
The New River Gorge Regional Development Authority( NRGRDA) has announced 10 awardees of its New River Gorge( NRG) Regional Working Group Technical Assistance Fund totaling more than $ 490,000.
Jina Belcher, executive director of NRGRDA, says federal funding through a Congressionally Directed Spending request allowed the NRG Working Group to support priority projects throughout its four-county region. Projects selected for planning funds had to target a need for an infrastructure improvement necessary for economic growth, support business retention through contracting local businesses and identify potential opportunities for regional connectivity.
