Doug Maxwell
Doug Maxwell is a native of Bridgeport, WV. He has worked as a freelance cinematographer in film and television and has written, edited and directed independent films and documentaries. He resides in Charleston, WV, with his dog, Fry, and enjoys reading military history, dry British comedy and spending time in his garage building a road-legal replica of a 1955 Jaguar D Type. An avid photographer and traveler, he has been all around the world, having climbed Mount Kilimanjaro and trekked to Everest Base Camp. He is currently training to climb Mount Fuji this summer.
Ty McClung
Ty McClung is a freelance contributor for West Virginia Executive and graduate student at West Virginia University( WVU), where he is pursuing his master’ s degree in journalism. McClung is a native of Madison, WV, and recently graduated from WVU with a Bachelor of Science in journalism. In his free time, he enjoys reading, being outdoors and cheering on the Mountaineers.
Sabrina McClure
Sabrina McClure was raised by loving, hard-working parents in Nicholas County, WV, in the small town of Calvin with her three brothers. She earned a bachelor’ s degree in creative writing from Marshall University in 2019. McClure enjoys writing long- and shortform fiction and creative nonfiction. In 2016, she published a novel and hopes to publish more in the future. In her free time, she can be found reading, baking, camping, hiking and watching or attending West Virginia University football games with her husband and spending time with family. Currently, she resides in Hurricane, WV, with her husband and three cats.

Kyle McColgan is a communications and public affairs strategist with over a decade of experience driving highimpact advocacy efforts for leading global corporations and trade associations. Currently, he leads communications for the Appalachian Regional Clean Hydrogen Hub( ARCH2) at Allegheny Science and Technology, playing a pivotal role in shaping the future of clean energy in the region.
Dawn Nolan
Dawn Nolan has been writing feature stories for magazines and newspapers for over 15 years. She is currently a selfemployed marketing copywriter and works at an independent bookstore where she handles social media, public relations and events. She also leads three monthly book clubs. Nolan graduated from Marshall University with bachelor’ s degrees in English and psychology. She is an avid traveler and escape room enthusiast. Nolan lives in her hometown of Huntington, WV, with her dog and cat.
McKenzie Stalnaker
McKenzie Stalnaker is an intern for Executive Ink, LLC, where she is gaining valuable experience in the field of journalism. She holds an associate’ s degree in strategic communication and a Bachelor of Science in communication and media studies with a concentration in strategic communication. She is a West Virginia native and currently resides in Jackson County. Stalnaker is an avid reader, writer and painter with a particular passion for storytelling. She hopes to one day publish a book in honor of her grandmother, Diana, who ignited her passion.
Seth Stover
Seth Stover is the graphic designer for Executive Ink, LLC. He holds a bachelor’ s degree in integrated marketing from Glenville State University with a minor in graphic design. Stover currently resides in Wallback, WV, with his wife, Leslee. In his spare time, he enjoys cooking and spending time with his cats, Eddie and Lottie.
Tracy Toler
Tracy Toler scaled Seneca Rocks at the age of 5 and has been reaching new heights ever since. Toler is the owner of Tracy A. Toler Photography. A mountain bike enthusiast, he is also the co-owner of Adventure Trail Systems and has built mountain bike trails all over West Virginia. Toler lives in Nitro with his two daughters, Sunny and Kaya. Paige Udermann
Paige Udermann is a Wisconsin native who recently relocated to Minnesota after several years in Charleston, WV. Having spent her time in Almost Heaven working for West Virginia Executive, Udermann stays connected to the Mountain State by continuing to freelance as a writer. She holds a bachelor’ s degree in business communications from the University of St. Thomas. Udermann’ s love for writing is matched only by her passion for reading and her enjoyment of the great outdoors. Udermann resides in Shoreview, MN, with her husband, Eric.
