Megan Bevins
Megan Bevins is an editorial and production manager for Executive Ink, LLC. She is a native of Hurricane, WV, and graduated from West Virginia University with a Bachelor of Science in journalism and a minor in political science. In her free time, Bevins enjoys reading, writing, listening to music, playing the guitar and hanging out with her Chihuahua, Little Man. Bevins has always loved to write, and she feels fortunate to pursue what she loves at West Virginia Executive.
Cathy Bonnstetter
Cathy Bonnstetter has covered statewide business news for more than a decade. She also spent many years as an adjunct professional writing instructor at West Virginia University’ s Reed College of Media. She resides in Morgantown, WV, with her husband, Dennis, and recently published her first children’ s book,“ Nugget’ s Haircut.”
Samantha Cart
Samantha Cart is the editor at large for Executive Ink, LLC. A native of Buffalo, WV, she holds bachelor’ s and master’ s degrees in journalism from West Virginia University. In her free time, she enjoys reading, writing and organizing. Cart lives in Red House, WV, with her husband, Caleb, and daughters, Joanna and Ruth.
Connie Conrad
Joining the team in 2019, Connie Conrad is a partner and marketing and advertising associate for Executive Ink, LLC. She holds a bachelor’ s degree in public relations with a minor in communication studies from West Virginia University. Conrad lives in Fairmont, WV, with her husband, Jason, and three children, Austin, Logan and Summer. She is an enthusiastic dog lover and enjoys reading books of all genres. John Deskins
John Deskins serves as director of the Bureau of Business & Economic Research and associate professor of economics at West Virginia University. He provides rigorous economic analysis and macroeconomic forecasting to business leaders and policymakers across the state. Deskins’ academic research has focused on economic development, small business economics and public policy.
Kenzie Dye
Kenzie Dye is a native of Tornado, WV, and serves as an editorial and production manager for Executive Ink, LLC. She holds a bachelor’ s degree in journalism with a major in advertising and minors in Appalachian studies and interactive design for media. She currently resides in South Charleston, WV. In her free time, Dye enjoys hanging out with her friends and their dogs and co-parenting a new dog, Maple, with her best friend.
Kensie Hamilton Fauber
Kensie Hamilton Fauber is the publisher and managing partner of Executive Ink, LLC and the publisher of West Virginia Executive, Discover West Virginia, Profiles and the West Virginia Medical Journal. She holds bachelor’ s degrees in corporate communications and journalism from Elon University and is a graduate of Leadership West Virginia, FBI Criminal Justice Information Services Citizens Academy, Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses and Leadership Monongalia. She serves on the board of directors for the Charleston Area Alliance and the Charleston Regional Chamber of Commerce. Maggie Hatfield
Maggie Hatfield is the business development center manager for Sweet Relish and a longtime freelance writer for West Virginia Executive. She is a graduate of West Virginia University, where she received her bachelor’ s and master’ s degrees in journalism. She previously served as the communications and development specialist for the Ursuline Sisters of Mount Saint Joseph. She resides in Clarksville, TN, with her husband, BJ, and daughters, Eloise and Pearl.
Jen Iskow
Jen Iskow is the marketing and communications manager for Generation West Virginia( GWV). At GWV, Iskow develops and executes marketing strategies that amplify the organization’ s reach and impact. She works closely with program directors to align communications across programs and ensures consistent messaging and branding organization-wide. Iskow is passionate about sharing inspiring success stories from GWV’ s programs and highlighting the unique opportunities that make the Mountain State extraordinary.
Jennifer Jett Prezkop
Jennifer Jett Prezkop is the disaster workforce engagement manager for the American Red Cross of Central Appalachia Region. Prior to joining the Red Cross, she spent 15 years in the print media industry as a writer and editor. She loves sharing the joy of reading with second grade students at Central Elementary in St. Albans through Read Aloud WV. In her spare time, she supports local cat rescue efforts as a volunteer with Operation Fancy Free and a board member and foster for Itty Bitty Kitty Committee. A native of Elkview, WV, she resides in Ripley with her husband, Doug, and their clowder of rescue cats.
