Oglebay Park Resort: A Rebrand Rooted in Tradition & Elevated for a New Generation
Nestled in the serene Appalachian foothills, Oglebay Park Resort has long balanced relaxation and recreation. Now, Oglebay is embarking on an exciting rebranding journey, introducing enhancements that elevate the guest experience to unprecedented heights.
In March 2025, Oglebay unveiled its new identity as Oglebay Park Resort. This rebranding includes a modernized logo and a refreshed color palette, aiming to position Oglebay as a premier destination on both regional and national stages. The resort is also enhancing its focus on guest service, prioritizing meaningful connections and personalized hospitality.
Oglebay Lodge, a cornerstone of the park resort experience, has undergone significant renovations to enhance guest comfort and convenience. The entrance now welcomes guests with an illuminated fountain and a porte-cochere. Inside, the lodge lobby has been redesigned to exude warmth and sophistication.
Oglebay’ s dining landscape has been revitalized with the introduction of new restaurants. Sarita’ s Coffee & Goods, formerly known as Sarita’ s Coffee, has been transformed into a vibrant café and boutique. Skyline Kitchen & Bar is a gastropub-style restaurant that offers the perfect setting for any meal, a casual seat at the bar or a late-night snack and cocktail. Trace Chophouse pays tribute to Oglebay’ s location on the National Road, offering a decadent dining experience as guests immerse themselves in its rich heritage.
2025 and 2026 will bring even more exciting enhancements. In latter 2025, the Lakeside Wing of Oglebay Lodge will
offer modern accommodations with upgraded amenities and stunning lake views. This refreshed lodging experience will provide guests with a tranquil escape while maintaining the charm and warmth that Oglebay is known for. A new lion conservation habitat will provide guests the opportunity to observe the majestic creatures up close in 2026. Oglebay’ s Good Zoo will introduce luxury villas overlooking the new lion habitat, where guests will awaken to breathtaking views of these incredible animals.
The recent and upcoming enhancements to Oglebay Resort Park ensure that every aspect of the visit— from arrival to departure— is met with comfort, personalized service and enrichment.
