In February 2023 , Chris and Mike took the next step to ensure the continued growth and expansion of D & H by naming Herb Parsons president of the firm and Eric Stewart vice president of engineering .
Herb has been with D & H since 2012 and his efforts have been a key reason for the company ’ s success . He has over 25 years of civil engineering and survey experience in Virginia , West Virginia , North Carolina , Ohio and Pennsylvania , and has developed a broad experience base with extensive project development serving public and private sector clients . He has spent much of his career in the land development and energy sectors , including residential and commercial development , oil and gas development , renewable energy and abandon mine land reclamation . In his new role , Herb will handle daily operations and lead the continued growth and development of D & H .
Eric was an original D & H employee and later worked several years in the oil and gas industry . Returning to D & H in 2018 , he brings over 20 years of civil and mechanical engineering experience from projects he has completed in West Virginia , Ohio and Pennsylvania .
