Through the lens of the energy and manufacturing industries , it can be determined that West Virginia is a contender in economic opportunity and development .
This special section allows the region ’ s energy and manufacturing companies to underscore their resiliency and continued prosperity and highlight ways they are contributing to and improving upon their respective industries in the Mountain State . Topics covered include facility and process improvements , labor force development , construction and renovation and research and development . Businesses and organizations participating in this regional celebration of energy and manufacturing were required to have an office in West Virginia , Pennsylvania or Ohio .
