Introducing the Sharp Shooters Class of 2021
THE YEAR 2020 was difficult for everyone , but it seems there is hope to be found in 2021 , with more of the population receiving coronavirus vaccines and restrictions lessening . People are starting to feel safe once more and are picking up where they left off before the COVID-19 pandemic put a halt to their normal , everyday lives . That means people are not only returning to in-person work , but they are also focusing once again on activities outside the office , including community service and outreach .
West Virginia Executive ( WVE ) magazine recognizes the Sharp Shooters Class of 2021 — those who never stop giving and helping , no matter the circumstances . Perhaps more than ever , these Sharp Shooters serve as an example as they lead in their careers and inspire others within their fields with their dedication and commitment . While the world stopped as we knew it for a time , their giving and efforts did not .
With a variety of titles , backgrounds and career successes , together these honorees embody what it means to be true West Virginians , to help one another while making the Mountain State the best possible place to live , work and play . Sharp Shooters have been dedicated to West Virginia for most of their professional lives , and WVE honors them as they honor their fellow natives . Let them serve as an inspiration to you . As interest in West Virginia blossoms , as we have seen through research and moving trends , it is all the more important to show the world the best of Almost Heaven and showcase those who make it so .
Sharp Shooters are West Virginians over the age of 43 who have been in their positions for at least five years and actively participate in community service , philanthropic endeavors and any efforts to move the Mountain State forward . WVE is proud to introduce the Sharp Shooters Class of 2021 .
