Maggie Blankenship is a native of Putnam County , WV , and has worked in agritourism for more than seven years . As assistant director of programs and events for the West Virginia Department of Agriculture , Blankenship serves farmers by helping them find new business opportunities within the department ’ s Business Development Division . Raised on her family farm and still part of the farming community today , she has a passion for local food and businesses .

Cathy Bonnstetter has covered statewide business news for more than a decade . She also spent many years as an adjunct professional writing instructor at West Virginia University ’ s Reed College of Media . She resides in Morgantown , WV , with her husband , Dennis , and recently published her first children ’ s book , “ Nugget ’ s Haircut .”
