Small business lending . Entrepreneurial support . Positive impact .
Small businesses are vital to West Virginia ’ s economic future . It ’ s our mission at Partner Community Capital to help new entrepreneurs and existing business owners alike find the capital and the support they need to turn their good ideas into thriving small businesses . Our goal ? Foster a diverse small business economy that promotes the health and wellness of communities large and small , in concert with the environment . We are working to bring the capital , expertise , collaboration , and policies to West Virginia that make that goal a reality .
New name . 20 years of impact .
Natural Capital Investment Fund recently changed its name to Partner Community Capital™ . Why the change ? We ’ ve chosen Partner Community Capital™ ( PCAP ) as our new name to better reflect what we do and how we do it . Since 2000 , we ’ ve relied on partnerships – with our borrowers , community leaders , and other supporters and funders – to create jobs and positive environmental and community impact .
We support locally owned , environmentally responsible small businesses because they are key to building flourishing and resilient communities . They create jobs , build wealth for entrepreneurs and their families , and provide products , services , and community improvements that all families need to prosper .

Small Business Loans
PCAP lends to small businesses , nonprofits , and farms so they can start and grow their operations . We cater to borrowers who can ’ t access conventional sources of financing . We are certified by the U . S . Treasury as a Community Development Financial Institution ( CDFI ) to do just that , and create jobs and positive impact along the way .
PCAP lenders take time to get to know our borrowers . We help small businesses identify and address their challenges and opportunities , and then work in partnership with them to obtain the financing they need . Frequently , we partner with banks and other lenders to make sure a business can obtain all the financing it needs . As a non-regulated lender , we can offer financing with flexible terms .
Advisory Services
PCAP does more than just lend . We connect our small business borrowers with experts – in marketing , finance , operations , and more – who can help them use financing successfully , overcome barriers , and capitalize on opportunities . We share the cost of these services , and sometimes can provide them free of charge to borrowers .
PCAP also hosts the WV Women ’ s Business Center , which provides 1:1 business advising , a full schedule of trainings and workshops , and a mentorship program . You can learn more about the WBC on the following page and at wvwomen . org .
