In her spare time , she enjoys traveling , reading , volunteering with Meow Cat Rescue and boasting about her beautiful home state . She currently resides in Hurricane , WV , with her husband , Quentin ; daughter , Esther ; and two cats .

Cathy Bonnstetter has covered statewide business news for more than a decade . She also spent many years as an adjunct professional writing instructor at West Virginia University ’ s Reed College of Media . She resides in Morgantown , WV , with her husband , Dennis , and recently published her first children ’ s book , “ Nugget ’ s Haircut .”

Previously , she worked as a longtime reporter for The Herald-Dispatch , covering health care , education and economic development throughout the state and region . Ken Magill worked as a New York Citybased writer and editor for more than two decades . Though he has mostly specialized in covering digital marketing-related topics for an international audience , his work has appeared in various outlets , including The Buffalo News and The New York Sun . Last fall , Magill and his family relocated from New York to the Charleston area . They believe it was one of the best decisions they ever made . They have fallen in love with this stunningly beautiful jewel of a state and its warm , down-to-earth people .
