Antero Resources donated

180 pieces

of personal protective equipment to Doddridge County emergency responders .
A team from Marshall University and Mountain Health Network produced and distributed a solution used to transport COVID-19 testing swabs and keep them viable . More than

5,800 vials

have been used at Cabell Huntington Hospital and Marshall Health testing sites , and nearly

9,000 vials

have been provided to the West Virginia Office of Laboratory Services .

Southwestern Energy donated more than $ 200,000

to local organizations , including $ 57,000 in West Virginia . The company also donated

1,000 KN95 masks

to emergency management agencies in Brooke , Marion , Marshall , Monongalia , Ohio and Wetzel counties .
ExxonMobil donated

2,400 gallons

of medical-grade hand sanitizer to the West Virginia National Guard . The company also increased its capability to manufacture specialized polypropylene used in medical masks and gowns by about 1,000 tons per month , which is enough to enable production of up to 200 million medical masks or 20 million gowns .

MONEY

In April , Highmark West Virginia and the Highmark Foundation provided $ 307,000 in grants

to organizations focused on helping people in need throughout West Virginia , including three food banks and community-based health care organizations .

Philanthropy West Virginia has facilitated more than $ 9,000,000 in collaborative giving from its membership for COVID-19 response .

Star Plastics offered to match any gifts made by its Millwood and Ravenswood plant employees to Parkersburg Area Community Foundation ’ s Hunger Fund on a dollar-for-dollar basis . Through its campaign , employee and company gifts totaling $ 4,000 were raised and $ 625 in in-kind food contributions were received .
