O ’ Brien brings more than three decades of telecommunications experience to Alpha Technologies . Most recently , he was a founder and president at Blue Sky Group LLC , a hybrid management and marketing firm that worked with startups to refine strategy , obtain capital and grow . He previously served as group vice president of enterprise sales for Frontier Communications .

Eastern West Virginia Regional Airport Authority Adds New Assets
The Eastern West Virginia Regional Airport Authority ( EWVRAA ) recently purchased nearly $ 4 million worth of assets formerly held by Aero-Smith , Inc .; Tiger-Smith Properties , LLC ; and JetLink LLC . The acquisition will add five aircraft hangars to those already offered by the airport , with one being a 20,000-square-foot executive hangar . The transaction also includes a fuel farm , King Air 200 turboprop charter aircraft and two Cessna 172s . In total , the EWVRAA has acquired nearly 90,000 square feet of additional aircraft hangar space and more than 18,000 square feet of office and work space .
With this momentous move , the airport authority will for the first time be able to offer expanded and enhanced aviation fuel sales , ground handling services , air charter , flight school and limited aircraft maintenance service with its current employee team . Commonly known as fixed-base operations , these actions will all be performed under the new trade name MRB Aviation .
The state-of-the-art large corporate jet class hangar EWVRAA purchased from JetLink will enable patrons to house large business aircraft on the field — a new service to the region . This property features approximately 20,000 square feet of hangar space with a door height of 28 feet and more than 3,600 square feet of additional office space . The EWVRAA also intends to make capital improvements , including the acquisition of additional ground support equipment for aiding aircraft operations , improvements to flight school aircraft , building renovations and the installation of a 24-hour , self-serve aviation gasoline pump .
“ We ’ re excited to see this increase in staffing and what it will mean for the expanding capabilities of our airfield ,” says EWVRAA Executive Director Nicolas Diehl . “ This situates EWVRAA , already the largest airfield in the state , as not only the most developed airport in West Virginia but as one in a prime position for continued growth .”
