Seve Astorg , CEO and co-founder of AutoiPacket , says he and his family first brainstormed the concept for the company while working in the family ’ s dealership group , Astorg Auto , which has dealerships in both Parkersburg and Charleston , WV .
“ Our goal was to provide Astorg shoppers with a more transparent vehicle purchasing experience by providing better information on the vehicles we sold ,” says Astorg . “ At the time , Astorg companies built paper folders on every vehicle , which contained all the documentation on the vehicle , including a vehicle history report , mechanical inspection report , reconditioning receipts , original window sticker and warranty information . In short , AutoiPacket took those vehicle folders or packets and through automation , digitized the process .”
