Aviation Professional Flight
• With the only FAA-approved CFR Part 141 Program in the state of West Virginia , Fairmont State University can truly help you soar .
• If selected to begin the Professional Flight Option , you can expect to begin flight as soon as your first semester .
• Learn the basics of flight by establishing a solid foundation through a combination of hands-on flight training with a Flight Instructor and Ground School application in a classroom setting .
• Build on your flight skills with a Flight Instructor and Ground School training all four years .
• Over the next decade , the demand for pilots is expected to increase faster than most other job fields .
• Female pilots are in high demand .
Careers Professional Flight graduates can find entry level employment as a professional pilot including :

Aviation Management
The Aviation Management degree combines aspects of business , law , ethics , interpersonal relations and technical skills related to the aviation industry .

• Fairmont State University ’ s Aviation Center of Excellence has the ability to offer work study or internship opportunities with affiliated airports nationwide as part of a partnership with the American Association of Airport Executives .
