Child Advocacy Efforts Expand in Morgan County with CASA of the Eastern Panhandle
Thanks to the generosity of the Morgan County Commission and Tom and Virginia Seely Foundation , Court Appointed Special Advocates of the Eastern Panhandle ( CASA-EP ) is excited to announce the opening of a new office in Berkeley Springs at the Pines Opportunity Center . Leading the local expansion is lifelong Morgan County resident Melody Stotler . She joined CASA-EP staff in August 2020 as a volunteer supervisor and will be primarily based in the new Morgan County office .
“ Joining CASA-EP was a true calling . I ’ m thrilled to be a part of the expansion happening right now , despite this challenging year ,” says Stotler . “ So many people haven ’ t heard of CASA , but we ’ re growing in Morgan County and ready to make a difference .”

Through the newly named Brad and Alys Smith Outdoor Economic Development Collaborative , the donation will provide initial funding for a remote worker program , a groundbreaking initiative designed to help individuals and young families prosper amid the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic .
