Developing and Investing
in Harrison County
The White Oaks Business Park is a multi-phase project located along Interstate 79’s High-Tech Corridor
in Bridgeport, WV. With two convenient entrances, the park was designed to focus on providing hospitality,
business opportunities and visitors’ services to the adjacent United Hospital Center and the FBI National
Biometrics Center. As the largest professional park in Harrison County, White Oaks is home to approximately
40 businesses providing more than 3,000 jobs to people living in and around Harrison County.
Since its inception in 2008, White Oaks has given companies a place to plant their roots and contribute to
the region’s economic development. The park is home to a variety of attractions, from small, local businesses
to large, corporate tenants. Several of these corporate clients include national hotel chains, with the park
housing more than 400 hotel rooms.
Whether by car or via the rapidly expanding North Central West Virginia Airport, White Oaks provides
travelers coming to the Mountain State with a prime hospitality experience and easy access to Morgantown,
Charleston and Pittsburgh. Guests can start the morning at Starbucks with a cup of coffee and end the day
with a sweet treat from Bonnie Belles, a locally owned bakery. White Oaks also houses many restaurants,
providing both local cuisines like Cody’s and large chain restaurants like TGI Fridays.
White Oaks offers ample amenities for visitors and Harrison County residents alike. The park gives local
citizens convenient access to health care professionals, retail shops, banks and more. Minard’s Spaghetti
Inn and Dyer Insurance Group, two well-known Harrison County-based companies, will open shop this fall.
White Oaks’ large, corporate tenants, including Antero Resources Corporation, Dominion Energy, Steptoe &
Johnson and The Thrasher Group, have also created hundreds of jobs that give professionals the opportunity
to live and work in the region. Working in White Oaks allows employees to work hard while enjoying the
many amenities offered right in the park.
Also anticipated to open this fall, the addition of a 110-bed assisted living facility, Harmony Senior Services,
starts the second phase of the White Oaks expansion. Phase Three will expand the location and focus on
catering to a different market with distribution centers, flex office space, repair shops, car dealers and more.
White Oaks is continuing to create economic development, jobs, accessibility and expansion in the area. We
are proud to call Harrison County our home.
