Clowser Receives Meritorious Service Award
The Associated General Contractors of America (AGC)
Executive Leadership Council (ELC) has awarded Contractors
Association of West Virginia (CAWV) Executive Director Mike
Clowser its 2018 Meritorious Service Award.
The council, comprised of the 89 AGC chapter executives
nationwide, established the award in 2013 as a means of
recognizing chapter executives who embody the highest
standard of conduct, innovation and leadership, providing
value to contractor members, ELC colleagues and the industry.
Clowser has been with the CAWV for 40 years, during
which time he has consistently demonstrated his vast knowl-
edge of the industry, utilized innovative changes in technology
to better produce quality services for members and represented
the construction industry before members of the West Virginia
Legislature and state and federal contracting agencies.
“All of us at CAWV would like to thank Mike for his guid-
ance and dedication to our association and congratulate him
on this distinguished honor,” says CAWV President Roger
Thomas, vice president of Kelly Paving, Inc.
