Bank of Charles Town ( BCT ) opened its doors on April 4 , 1871 , at the corner of West Washington and Lawrence streets in Charles Town , WV . Since then , it has grown into seven offices in total , including three in Jefferson County and two in Berkeley County . BCT is the largest locally owned bank headquartered in the Eastern Panhandle .
