Minnetonka Beach offers scenic serenity
Situated on a peninsula extending into Lake Minnetonka, Minnetonka Beach offers one of the most unique and scenic settings in the west Lake Minnetonka area. Known locally as“ The Beach,” the city provides a quiet, residential environment surrounded by water on nearly all sides.
With a population of fewer than 600 residents, Minnetonka Beach is one of the smallest communities in the region, yet it offers strong community connections and access to some of the lake’ s most picturesque views. Its location provides convenient access to boating, outdoor recreation and nearby communities.
The city has a long history as a lakeside destination, and its layout and character continue to reflect that heritage. Community spaces and neighborhood connections help maintain the close-knit feel that defines the area.
Despite its size, Minnetonka Beach remains an integral part of the Lake Minnetonka community, offering a distinctive blend of history, scenery and community pride.
