Chambers promote community
From holiday tree lightings to community festivals, local chambers of commerce help create relationships between local businesses and help them create a community feel in the cities and regions they’ re in. But it’ s not all about networking, these chambers help connect community members as well through events held all year long. Chamber members can be regularly seen volunteering and getting involved in the community.
The Long Lake Area Chamber of Commerce is made up of Long Lake and Orono area businesses and individuals. The group sponsors events such as Buckhorn Days, Taste of Long Lake, the Corn Days parade and safe trick-or-treating.
