HHello and welcome to the first edition of West Head Boatbuilders Ltd . The Magazine . We plan to publish this magazine at least twice a year to highlight the boats we build and the high-quality products and equipment we put into them . We ’ ll also capture stories of the experience and the labour of love that goes into each vessel from our valued customers , suppliers , and crew .
A few years after I established West Head Boatbuilders , I realized that we didn ’ t have a publication for the local boat building industry . Since there are so many intricacies that make up the boat building process that I ’ m eager to shed some light on , we decided to start one ourselves .
In this magazine , we want to share the spotlight with everyone who contributes to the creation of our magnificent custom crafts — crew , contractors , and customers alike .
You ’ ll hear from the crew that works tirelessly to put layouts together and bring elaborate designs to life . The experienced West Head team comes in every day , ready to put their all into each and every project . We ’ ll also interview suppliers about the latest in the fishing and boat building industries and let you in on how we ’ re staying up to date in our own trade . The local Atlantic Canadian suppliers we use are renowned subcontractors that we know and trust . Not only will we offer their insight , but we ’ ll show you why you ’ ll want them to be a fundamental component in your custom build too .
And of course you ’ ll hear from satisfied West Head customers who have moved through the construction process start to finish and emerged with a dream boat they ’ re proud to call their own . From carrying on family legacies to turning a lifelong dream into reality , we want to bring to light local stories that will move you and help you decide whether building a custom boat with us is the right move for you .
