Those who enjoy sports can take in an amateur baseball game at Highland Park , home of the Watertown Red Devils of the Crow River Valley baseball league .
The community prides itself on small town charm and sense of community which is showcased every year during Rails to Trails ; the annual celebration the third weekend of every July , with live music , a classic car show , a 5K fun run , fireworks , and the hunt for the Golden Spike .

Watertown-Mayer Public Schools provides dynamic community education programming that draws hundreds of participants each year .
