Targeting Tumor Microenvironment to Improve Therapy
The tumor contains a complex microenvironment that includes many different cell types interacting with each
other to promote the growth and metastasis of the tumor cells. Professor Huang’s talk will first introduce the
microenvironment, followed by discussions on the intervention strategies that may enhance therapeutic outcomes.
He will specifically discuss targeting the tumor-associated fibroblasts and macrophages and how it can promote the
immunotherapy to control cancer progression.
