People spend much time under artificial light and according to recent research, lighting is associated with insomnia and myopia. Professor Nakamura won the 2014 Nobel Prize in Physics based on the co-invention of the efficient blue LED. Blue LEDs are essential devices used for modern LED lighting and is becoming popular because it is energy saving. However, LED strives to improve the quality of light based on the above-mentioned health problems. In this keynote lecture, Shuji Nakamura will talk about new, healthy, and energy-saving LED lighting.
