LINKING PAYPAL TO YOUR MAILING LIST (ideal for online coaching programs)
When you get paid on your website ideally you want to be adding that person to your
mailing list so that you have a complete list of people who aren’t just interested in what
you have to say, but are also highly engaged as a client and can get more from you. While
it is super easy to connect PayPal to MailChimp (or any other mailing list provider for that
matter), with a 3rd party software, it’s usually expensive, starting at $20 a month. So
when you are strapped for cash and want to go the DIY or FREE route, then the process
can seem daunting in connecting all the pieces together. Not anymore. Holley asked how
to connect her MailChimp List for a Program to her PayPal so the person is auto added to
the list. In this video we show you the exact steps to setup your PayPal button correctly
and making sure you redirect it for the person to get added to the right list on your
mailing list. NOTE: to do this you must have a PayPal Business or Merchant account and a
Mailing List with a provider such as MailChimp, Mailerlite, Aweber.
