WELLINGTON COLLEGE CHINA
OUR CAMPUSES
Echoing the distinctive classical style of the UK campus, we
have built three superb facilities in Tianjin and Shanghai, to create
not only a quality learning and teaching environment for our
pupils and staff, but also to create a living, vibrant community for
our parents.
There are state-of-the-art classrooms, science laboratories and
art / design technology workshops. There are multiple courts
for a wide variety of sports, both inside and outside, as well as
indoor heated swimming pools. We have outstanding provision
for music and drama, including our Black Box theatre and 420
and 500 - seat theatres. Our large libraries blend both digital and
traditional approaches, and the V&A café in each school provides
a space in which the whole community can relax.
CATERING
Though pupils may bring a packed lunch, the majority of pupils
opt for school lunch which is catered for by Compass in Tianjin
and Shanghai. A range of Asian and Western dishes are provided,
together with a wellstocked salad bar.
BUS SERVICES & ROUTES
The school bus company, YiLong, is one of the largest
transportation companies in Tianjin. All buses are equipped
with seat belts, two-way communication, and bus monitors.

school administration according to pupil needs. Wellington

Shanghai’s bus service is provided in cooperation with the
renowned company, Shanghai Peixing Transportation Service Co.
Ltd. Which started in the business of providing transportation
services in 1996. All buses are equipped with seat belts, two-
way communication, and bus monitors. Scheduling and routing
is developed in conjunction with the school administration
according to pupil needs. Wellington offers extensive bus routes

COLLEGE UNIFORM
All pupils are required to wear the college uniform. The principal
aim of the college uniform is for pupils to present a neat and tidy
appearance, while ensuring they feel comfortable in what they
wear. In addition we want them to wear the uniform with pride,
illustrating their membership of a highly reputable and successful
school. The basic design and colours of the uniform derive from
Wellington College in the UK, reflecting the closeness of the
relationship between the three schools. The college uniform
is different for warm and cold weather. All uniform items and
accessories can be purchased on site at the college uniform shop.
