Letter from Commissioner Owens
Welcome to Forsyth, Monroe County! My family relocated here just under two years ago from Newnan but I feel like I have lived here all of my life.
Forsyth-Monroe County offers an outstanding public school system, great people and an outstanding quality of life. When I’ m conducting business around the beautiful town square, I’ m not dealing with nameless corporations but people I have come to know and trust as individuals. With Macon 20 minutes to the south and Atlanta just an hour to the north, we have access to any activity we desire, but at the end of the day it’ s nice to come home to Monroe County!
