One possibility is a “ working farm ” educational program run by the Floyd County 4-H .
Denison said there could be involvement from the Highlander Youth Recreation and Floyd County Little League .
The county is looking into the possibility of the Floyd County Parks Department opening a venue at the park that would bring in revenue from rentals to support upkeep and future park endeavors , Knable said .
The park will be a “ regional destination ,” he said .
“ The hope would be that people would be able to come down from anywhere in a couple hundred-mile radius and spend some time not only at the park , but maybe spend some time at a bed and breakfast in New Albany and go out that way ,” Knable said . “
