Look out for staff and students in coloured
t-shirts. They will be around to answer your
questions and offer advice to help you make the
most of your first few days at Keele. Staff from
the different services in Student Support and
Development will be based at the Help and
Information stands in the Chancellor’s Building
Foyer over Welcome Weekend.
Information Point
Throughout the week, staff and Student
Welcome Week Ambassadors will also be based
at our Info Point in the Chancellor’s Building
Foyer Art Gallery. We will have loads of
information here about what’s going on during
Welcome Week, as well as information about the
local area including travel tips. You will also be
able to get tickets for our different trips this week
and if you can sing, dance, play an instrument or
have some other exceptional talent, don t forget
to sign up for the Keele Has Talent show! Great
prizes for the winner!

There will be a wide range of events at KeeleSU
and across campus during Welcome Week.
These will include events such as:
• Freshers’ Fair
• Society Sign-Up Fair
• Live artist performances
• Farmers’ Markets
• Various Trader Fairs
• Quiz nights
• Film nights

• Welcome Week is a great chance for you to
start exploring what University life is all about,
socially as well as academically
• You can make lasting friendships during
Welcome Week, but don t worry if it takes a
little longer for things to fit into place. There
are thousands of students studying at Keele
and there is plenty of time to meet like-minded
people and make great new friends – at Keele,
there is something for everyone. If you do feel
a little uncomfortable about turning up to an
event alone or haven t found an event that
suits you then you can:
