WELCOME GUIDE 2015
Registration with
the Health Centre
In order to register with the National
Health Service and receive treatment,
you must be registered with a general
medical practice near where you live.
If you are not already registered with a
local practice, you should register with
the general medical practice at the
University Health Centre when you enrol
for your course. Registration will take
place during Welcome Weekend on the
Saturday and Sunday in Dorothy
Hodgkin rooms 1.13 and 1.15
The registration forms can be
downloaded from the health centre
website www.keelepractice.co.uk.
Please fill these in before you arrive as
this will minimise the time taken to
process your registration. If you have a
medical condition, undergoing
treatment at the hospital, or are taking
repeat medication please bring this
information with you when you register.
If you are unable to register on that day
you should do it at the Health Centre
during your first week at University.
