Welcome Festival Sunday 27 September, 11.30am-1.30pm On Sunday 27 September from 2-5pm the campus will be full of life. (for students living in campus Halls of Residence) It’s Sunday morning of the first weekend of your time here at Keele; what better way to get the morning off to a great start than by enjoying a breakfast with your new flatmates and friends. Staff from each Hall will be hosting a breakfast. This is a great chance to meet the Accommodation staff including the Residence Support Assistants and your Halls Reps (these students make up your hall Council). Free Barbecue for Local and Commuter Students Sunday 27 September, 12.30pm-2pm If you are living off campus and commuting to Keele, come along to our free barbecue on Sunday 27 September from 12.30pm in the Outback, Keele Students’ Union. Enjoy a free burger or hot dog (don’t worry, vegetarian options are available too) and meet up with some other students. We will give you a voucher for this barbecue when you enrol but don’t forget to bring it with you! Only the first 200 orders will be free so come early to not miss out. Then stay around and wait for the Welcome Festival to begin. Sunday 27 September 2-5pm, Union Square WELCOME GUIDE 2015 Welcome Weekend Breakfast There should be something for everyone, from huge inflatables and climbing walls to live music and dancing, as well as lots of fun sports activities, stalls and a ‘green zone’ to find out more about Keele’s Sustainability ethos and activities. There will also be stands from different Student Societies, including a Multi-faith Fair outside Keele Chapel. Hall Welcome Talks Sessions throughout Monday 28 September – Wednesday 30 September in the evenings Compulsory sessions for all new starters living in Halls. These talks will provide you with important information relevant to living in our Halls of Residence and support across the university. You will be given further information about the day and time of your talk prior to your arrival. 29
