General Information
SAFETY
Safety is our number one priority at all of our camps . It is a foundation on which everything is based . Staff are carefully selected , background checked , and trained in how to keep all campers physically , mentally , and emotionally safe . All staff are CPR and First Aid certified , and professional security is on site at both Camp Hilbert and the Weinstein JCC during the camp day .
COMMUNICATION
• A confirmation letter will be emailed once the camper ’ s registration has been processed .
• Camps will be in contact with families the week prior to their camper starting regarding any information needed to have a successful transition to camp .
• Stay up to date through our private Facebook Summer Camps Group , CampMinder , email updates , and at weinsteinjcc . org .
• Camp documents and camper personal medical information are located on CampMinder . Login details will be sent with confirmation email .
LUNCH & SNACKS
Your child should bring a dairy ( meat and shellfish-free ) lunch and a water bottle to camp each day . Afternoon snacks ( kosher , peanut-free ) are provided at all camps .
REGISTRATION
Weinstein JCC member priority registration opens on Sunday , January 26 at 9 AM . Registration will open to nonmembers on Monday , February 3 . A one-time registration fee of $ 25 per camper applies . See pages 39-42 for application process and fee details .
AFTERCARE
Registration for this option will be available for all weeks of camp . Aftercare is held at the Weinstein JCC from 4:30 PM-6:00 PM Monday through Friday , and our counselors will be there to run fun games and activities .
