2022 LOCAL CONTENT AND SERVICE REPORT
IN THE COMMUNITY
WEFS uses its high-definition remote production unit to provide live and recorded public affairs , cultural , and sports programming . The HD production unit gives WEFS the mobility for live EFSC graduation ceremonies and live community events as well as other recorded events . In 2022 the station provides local programs for broadcast and on-line web viewing . WEFS viewers were able to watch a program produced and aired by the station this past year named " Brevard County Volunteer Recognition Awards 2022 ". The station continues its recognition of sports that cover our licensee ’ s ( Eastern Florida State College ) teams in highlight of soccer , volleyball , baseball , softball , and basketball . This was a goal of the station to create interstitials of college sports to air on the broadcast channel and website to highlight the programs and opportunities the college offers . The high quality of the productions also enhances the professional reputation of WEFS and the college . With this opportunity , it helps us increase our stature and impact in the community and with our viewers .
