Adjectives (Parts of Speech) – what is an adjective, where and
when is it used? Once the child is aware that a name given to
an object is referred to as a noun, we can go further to use
words to describe that noun. Hence, ‘adjectives’. Try to come
up with as many as you can, whenever you are out and about
with your child! How about a little contest of who can name
the most adjectives to describe a noun? Anything goes from a
‘fairy car ’ to a ‘yucky garbage bin’! Urrgh!
