Member Disciplinary Action – Due to a procedural inconsistency , motions were made and approved for rescinding three previous ARC disciplinary actions . Pickleball Project – Warren Lee , GM , and Justin Pickham , Racquet Sports Director , presented an update of the pickleball project . Warren gave an extensive review of the project , from project conception to where we are presently . Pickleball ’ s popularity and exponential growth were discussed , both nationally and here at LWN . Estimated costs of construction were reviewed for building four courts , one court , and one court with lighting for all courts . Siting of the courts would be adjacent to the existing four courts . Financing of the project would be from the Capital Reserve fund and depending on the scope and final cost of the project , a vote of the community could be necessary . The Racquet Sports Committee has voted 6-1 for constructing one more court . The Board directed Warren to further investigate a one court project . Warren ’ s PowerPoint presentation is posted on our Member website . Chelsea Racquet Sports Reservation System – Justin Pickham presented information about the Chelsea system and the benefits of this system over the current one . Equitable play , play data collection , better organization of play , and ease of use were cited . The Board approved the purchase of the Chelsea software . Speed Control System - Warren Lee presented additional information about the proposed speed control system , comprising of four radar speed signs and a mobile speed camera . After discussion of system components and speeding enforcement processes , the Board approved , as a first step , the purchase of the radar speed signs which have the capability of collecting speeding data and measuring the extent of speeding on our streets . Member Disciplinary Action – two members were found in violation of our Code of Conduct Policy , and both were suspended for 30 days .
