For this system to work , and players to be happy with the level they are playing against , it is extremely important that everyone understands what their level is . If you are unfamiliar with the DUPR rating system , or have no rating at all , you should start at the NOVICE level to better understand where your level is . Please refer to skill sheet links below to help determine your level
DUPR RATINGS
TEK SUMMARY To play at the advanced level , your DUPR rating or equivalent of , must be at ( 3.8 ) or above . If you cannot win games at this level , you may want to think about stepping down to the intermediate level . This is the same for intermediate stepping back to novice . The Paddle Saddle system will be in effect for all open play . Adding your paddle in a slot starting from the left , taking up each slot to the right , will allow for a mixing of people to go out and play . Once the group goes out on court , the “ Next-Up ” clip should be moved to the right to indicate which foursome goes to the next open court . At the end of the holder , the clip should be returned to the very left to start the process again . Please be aware of when your turn is as to not slow down the process of players getting on court . Putting your name on your paddle is not required , but a good idea so people can call your name . Games are to 11 points . At the completion of the game all members need to exit the court and return their paddles to an open slot to play again .
