Gary in Year 8 reading to the primary students
In Year 10 Drama this week, students are busy preparing for their summative assessment at the
end of November. The students will be doing a performance about the differences between local
students and international students, as well questioning how involved international students are
in Chinese traditions. This will be a short 5-minute performance.
In Year 12 Chemistry this week, students were making buffering solutions and investigated the
effect of temperature of juice on the content of Vitamin C. The Year 11 students were doing
electroplating which involves using electrolysis to deposit a thin layer of one metal onto the
cathode of another. After that, they used galvanised steel, pure iron nail, and paint coated iron nail
to do a rusting investigation experiment.
