Countdown to the People ' s Assembly...
The People ' s Assembly is finally here, opening at 9am tomorrow at Central Hall, Westminster.
So far, almost 4,000 people have registered to attend the forum but there is still room for more so if you have not yet signed up, make sure you do so tonight!
The People ' s Assembly has been organised by an enormous consortium of trade unions, grassroots organisations, campaigners and think tanks- including the Institute of Employment Rights.
Make your way to the library at 11am to attend the Mobilising Millions: Re-Unionising the UK workshop, at which Chair of the IER John Hendy QC will be speaking. The topic of this session is how a collective response to the banking crisis, pay inequality, and increasing vulnerability in the workplace can be organised.
