released on Children and Families Bill 10 May 2013 The Institute of Employment Rights has published a briefing on the Children and Families Bill, which includes measures such as shared parental leave, an extended right to flexible working and time off for antenatal appointments.
Three new publications, forthcoming events and resources
You may have noticed that over the past few months the Institute of Employment Rights has had a lot to promote.
In February, we released what became one of our bestselling publications Justice deferred: a critical guide to the Coalition ' s employment tribunals, followed by a related book of essays by some of the UK ' s top law experts Access to justice in employment disputes: surveying the terrain in May; and now you can order June ' s release The political attack on workplace representation- a legal response, which is the latest offering from renowned Professor of Public Law, and President of the IER, Keith Ewing; and Oxford lecturer in law Alan Bogg.
We are excited about the positive feedback we have received for these publications, from critics and readers alike, and intend to keep up the momentum with our forthcoming events on Health and Safety this June and July.
