inthePINK inthePINK Before the treatment commenced, the aesthetician explained that they focus on the comforting touch of the hands to massage the face and therefore do not utilise any form of equipment during the treatment – a point that I learnt to understand and appreciate after the session. The skin analysis is done after the aesthetician double cleanses my face with The Cleansing Gel and The Cleansing Fluid, which remove all traces of make up, dirt and oil. Under the scrutiny of the naked eye of the aesthetician, she passed the verdict that I had combination skin, which was oily along the T-zone and dry on the forehead and cheek areas. She then proceeded to professionally administer the carefully selected La Mer products for my skin type. First, The Tonic was patted on to help refresh, purify and tone the skin after the tedious cleansing process. Then, The Mist was sprayed on to the face to renew, hydrate and rebalance my dry complexion – a refreshing element to the facial. Finally, the famous Miracle Broth (also known as Treatment Lotion) was applied in firm swift strokes to the face and décolleté, massaging the potently nourishing lotion into the skin for better absorption. For pampering of the upper body, the skilled aesthetician massaged my arms with The Body Crème, immediately infusing my dry f
